Itinerary
We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in the world.
Morning Departure from Marrakech (around 8:00 AM)
Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m)
Stop for panoramic views and local Berber villages
Visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones
Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa”
Optional visit: Atlas Studios or Taourirt Kasbah
💤 Overnight in Ouarzazate (hotel or riad)
After breakfast, drive through Skoura Oasis and Valley of Roses
Continue through the scenic Dades Valley (optional stop at Monkey Fingers or Dades Gorge)
Head to the dramatic Todra Gorges – great for a short walk
Afternoon arrival in Merzouga, meet your camel caravan
Camel ride at sunset across the Erg Chebbi dunes
Arrive at your desert camp in the middle of the dunes
Enjoy a traditional dinner, local music around the fire, and stargazing
💤 Overnight in desert camp (Berber-style tents or luxury option)
Early wake-up to watch the sunrise over the dunes
Breakfast at the camp, then camel ride or 4×4 transfer back to the main road
Start return journey to Marrakech via:
Rissani (optional quick visit to the local market)
Scenic drive through the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river and palm-filled valley
Cross back over the Anti-Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate
Quick lunch stop on the way
Return to Marrakech by evening (around 7–8 PM)
