Morning visit to the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca (largest in Africa)
Drive to Rabat (1.5 hrs)

Depart Fes in the morning, scenic route:

Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains
Lunch in Midelt
Drive through the Ziz Valley toward Erfoud and then Merzouga
